Designed by an award-winning American architect and completed by a German contractor in 2009, it is a 6 bedroom, 6 1/2 bath villa of exceptional quality. From the fabulous combination of heated pool and spa with reflecting pool, coral terraces and waterfall, to the 700+ square feet of travertine marble floors, American and European appliances and hardware, and furnishings sourced from around the world, this is an ideal home for a family that requires elegance as well as flexibility. You enter the villa through mature tropical gardens, crossing a wooden bridge over a pond with tilapia, carp and exotic turtles.
The foyer opens onto a reflecting pool lined with black stone that divides the private and public areas of the villa. To the left, on the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms, each with a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms is currently used as an office. Turning right from the entrance, you enter a spacious 90 square meter living room with tea corner and 5 meter ceilings. Next is the wine room, dining room and kitchen with a huge pantry that opens to a large outdoor kitchen as well. From the dining room there is access to a fourth bedroom on the first floor with full bathroom. Connected to the kitchen are extensive service areas, including laundry, staff apartment with bathroom, storage and machine rooms and garage for 2 cars.
The garage includes a large storage loft. The second floor is accessed from the lobby via a spectacular curved staircase contained in an octagonal stair tower. The second floor landing leads to two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms. These bedrooms have great natural ventilation and the largest, the master bedroom, has a separate covered terrace and a small staircase for private access to the pool and spa/kiosk area.
Another room, accessed by a staircase from the landing, is currently used as a media space, but with its two balconies and air-conditioned comfort, it could also be a wonderful exercise/yoga/gym space. Finally, an open-air terrace is accessed from the press room via a staircase and a door. This terrace is 10 meters above ground level and offers great views to the west towards the mountain known as Isabella and the fantastic sunsets there. An extensive system of covered terraces throughout the house allows you to relax and dine in the shade.

Sosúa is a coastal city in the province of Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic. It is located about 6.4 km from the Gregorio Luperón International Airport in San Felipe de Puerto Plata and is divided into three sectors: El Batey, which is the main tourist section and on the east side of the main beach (Playa Sosúa).
Playa Sosua just twenty minutes east of Puerto Plata, the golden sands of Playa Sosua embrace the crescent-shaped bay creating a contrast with its turquoise blue waters against a white and sandy background. This beach was practically where beach tourism originated in the Dominican Republic, and continues to be an important destination. Playa Sosua is known for its lively stretch lined with bars, restaurants and local and international stores.
Playa Alicia is one of the most recent beaches in the country, formed a few years ago. Also known as the “miracle beach,” this wide stretch of golden sand lies below a couple of restaurants and cafes, but you won’t find any other businesses or vendors on the beach. It is a place to go for a leisurely swim and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.
